From: Ground to Sound Film and Art FestivalWe invite all filmmakers, storytellers, artists, and environmental enthusiasts to submit their cinematic creations! Your film should highlight the urgent need to reduce stormwater drain runoff, which can impair and damage our valuable ecosystems and the environment we all cherish.
Environmental Services protects and restores natural resources, keeping our city clean, safe, and livable through garbage and recycling pickup, wastewater treatment, household hazardous waste disposal, protection from stormwater pollution, and much more. Stormwater Management concentrates on preventing pollution before it reaches our waters and restoring sites already affected by industry and urbanization. We believe everything we do supports healthy neighborhoods and a thriving Puget Sound, leaving a better Tacoma for all.
We are partnering with the City of Tacoma and Foster’s Creative to invite all filmmakers, photographers, storytellers, artists, and environmental enthusiasts to submit your cinematic and photographic creations! Your film or photo should highlight the urgent need to reduce stormwater drain runoff that can impair and damage our valuable ecosystems and the environment we all cherish.
