For the first time since the start of the pandemic, this event will be held in person at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Event Center. There is also an opportunity for new students and their families to go through a mock lunch line and tour a school bus. Information about volunteering and parent engagement will also be available. The choice showcase is from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Media is allowed to get preview video earlier in the day. Please call Gabrielle Brown to coordinate.

Students at Frazier Elementary have been learning about monarchies and kings and queens. The young princes and princesses will enjoy refreshments as they celebrate learning in the cafeteria at 1:00 pm.

Hoot Day of Kindness – For the last few weeks, students at Sternberger Elementary have been learning about food insecurities and the importance of helping others. Students collected food items through January and raised awareness of how we can help others. That learning will culminate with a HOOT day of Kindness, organized by GCS Teacher of the Year, Chris Carroll. Throughout the day, students will pack boxes of food to support the Out of the Garden Program.
