From: Halloweenapalooza Horror Film FestivalHalloweenapalooza has become known for providing entertainment through its annual zombie walk, costume contest, and film festival which has received international recognition, and more. Not only are out-of-towners enthusiastically boosting the local economy, but locals are able to spotlight their talents, arts, and businesses by becoming a vendor at Halloweenapalooza. With horror film celebrities at Halloweenapalooza and our live music in the evening, we are thoroughly encouraged by the yearly growth of this event and continue to expand on our previous success.

5:00 p.m - 11:00 p.m: Film Festival (Produce Iowa Theatre)
Short horror films from all over the world will be screened over the two days. Blocks A, B, and C will play Friday night. Block C is designated for adult content.
5:00 p.m - 11:00 p.m: Vendors and Celebs (Lobby)
Different vendors selling all sorts of fun and Halloween-related goodies will be set up throughout the lobby. Celebs will be taking pictures and signing autographs.
5:00 p.m: Special Fx Makeup Demo
Nero from Bat Brain Studios will be on hand to do a special makeup FX demo It's going to be a bloody good time In "7Cellars" Event Room
6:00 p.m: Book Reading
We're excited to announce that we're going to hear five awesome area authors read excerpts from their books We will be featuring Bret Royer, Harley Ramsey, Evan Clouse, Patrick McLaughlin, and Bryan Clark Come let them fill up your earholes with their spooky words, and then be sure to visit their vendor booths for signed copies In "7Cellars" Event Room
7:00 p.m: Cosplay Demo
Special guest Alys Belyn will host a panel discussion titled "Scary Cute Cosplay," where she'll dive into the art of blending fun, cutesy fashion elements with traditionally scary and iconic characters. Whether you're a seasoned cosplayer or just starting out, this is a panel you won't want to miss In "7Cellars" Event Room
8:00 p.m: Spooky Splatter Showdown
Assemble a team of four or find new friends to join your team for a thrilling paint relay Each team will have 5 minutes to strategize their painting masterpiece before each member takes a 10-minute turn to create their part of the artwork. The catch Each painter will work individually, unable to see what the others are creating until the final reveal. All supplies will be provided. Watch the teams' creative process unfold and witness the unique and surprising results.Sponsored by the Ottumwa Area Arts Council. In "7Cellars" Event Room
9:00 p.m - 10:30 p.m: Trivia With Insane Mike
Test your trivia knowledge with Insane Mike. He'll be leading trivia games and contests for about 90 minutes. There will be prizes and fun things. In "7Cellars" Event Room
11:00 p.m: After Party
To keep the party going, we'll be holding an after-party at Pallister Brothers Bar and Taproom, located at 116 N Market Street. Join celebrity guest Andras Jones and local rockers The Least Worst for a night of fun.

12:00 p.m: Crafting Hour
Little and big kids will have the opportunity to do some fun paper craft projects to kick off Saturday morning. From pumpkins to spider webs, all the materials will be included; all you need to do is bring your imagination.. (Ages 5-12) In "7Cellars" Event Room
1:00 p.m: The Art Of Documentary Filmmaking
Justin Beahm (Reverend Entertainment) shares tips, tricks, and stories from his adventures in documentary filmmaking. Reverend Entertainment creates content for Paramount Pictures, Shout. Factory/ Scream Factory, Terror Vision, Anchor Bay, Arrow Video, and other studios and distribution companies. In "7Cellars" Event Room
2:00 p.m: Derry Public Radio [Live Podcast]

6:00 p.m: Featured Film - Reunion From Hell 2
Two years after the tragedy, we follow Riley Conner and his friends as they intend to celebrate Christmas at a secluded cabin in the mountains. Director and star Hayden Newman will introduce the film and do a Q&A afterward. In "7Cellars" Event Room
6:00 p.m: Zombie Walk
Meet outside at the main entrance in your best living dead costume (or any costume really) and prepare to walk the streets of Ottumwa.. This is a free event, costume awards given out after
8:00 p.m: Costume Contest (Produce Iowa Theatre)
Sign up at the front desk to enter the costume contest. Show your stuff. There will be prizes for Best Adult, Best Teen, Best Child, Best Couple/Group, Best in Show. Line up at 7:30 The Costume Contest is sponsored by Ottumwa Radio.
9:00 p.m: Awards Show (Produce Iowa Theatre)
See who wins Best Short and Runner-up, Audience Choice, Best Kill, Halloween Spirit, and the new award, Andy Wassom One-Liner. Trophies will be given out.
10:00 p.m: Rocky Horror Picture Show (Produce Iowa Theatre)
The event concludes with everybody's favorite audience participation movie Rocky Horror Picture Show. Bring your own props or we'll also have survival kits available for purchase. You don't want to miss this. No glitter or confetti.
