Harmonium Choral’s Second Annual Beer Choir at Glenbrook Brewery

Arts and Entertainment

September 5, 2024

MORRISTOWN, N.J. Come sing with Harmonium Choral Society and our choral community at Glenbrook Brewery. This is a national singing movement founded by composer Michael Engelhardt in Minnesota in 2015.  If you like beer, and you like to sing, you’ll love Beer Choir.  This isn’t like your traditional choir - if you show up, you ARE the choir! No singing experience required; just come and sing, drink, and laugh together! There will be non-alcoholic beverages available, and your ticket includes entry and one beer/drink. Homemade food for purchase by Morristown’s favorite, Verrilli’s - brats, Bavarian pretzels, potato pancakes and their famous Spudnuts (potato donuts with yummy toppings).

The singing will be led by Artistic Director Dr. Anne Matlack and other Harmonium talented friends, who will encourage all to sing and will be supported by a kindly pianist. Get ready to join in on traditional drinking songs from Europe and America, some popular tunes and hymns, and a handful of adventurous choral songs from the official Beer Choir Hymnal.  There will be games, a craft beer pull and much more to entertain and delight you.

When: Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 7:00pm

Where: Glenbrook Brewery, 95 Morris Street, Morristown, NJ.

Ticket price: $35 in advance, $40 on the day of the event. Funds raised at this event benefit Harmonium Choral Society; a nonprofit organization that works to keep the choral arts alive.
