Hayward Seed Lending Library Presents: Make a Gift from Your Garden

At this FREE workshop, we'll be making a gift from the garden: herb-infused vinegar! Herb vinegar is a great way to add that little "pop" to your salads, marinades, and more.

If you have some fresh herbs from your garden, bring them to share! We will also be providing some.

 Many Voices: An In-Person Afternoon with Kurdish-Iranian Author Ava Homa
Saturday, December 2, 1:00-2:30 p.m., Weekes Branch Library

At this free event, Ava Homa, Kurdish-Iranian author, will be in conversation with literary critic and author Jennifer Carson as she talks about her award-winning book, growing up in Iran, her journey to becoming the first female Kurdish author published in English, and some of the challenges facing both women and Kurds in the Middle East.
