Join us in honoring Sheriff Deputies of Sumner County

Champions of Valor is an annual HolidayFest season kick-off celebration. It is a fun-filled, heartwarming breakfast with Awards. The 2024 Champions of Valor will will honor Sheriff Deputies from Hendersonville, Gallatin, Portland, and Millersville.

This year's event will have a special presentation in honor Sheriff Roy "Sonny" Weatherford.

The emcee for this event is Sumner County Mayor, John Isbell and special guest speaker is State Senator, Ferrell Haile.

Sumner Food and Wine Festival

Join us for an amazing weekend of food, wine, and festivities at the Sumner Food and Wine Festival!

The Sumner Food and Wine Festival is an annual 2-day event that showcases a curated collection of five chefs, each presenting their signature course, elevated wine pairings, and entertainment. Saturday is The Grand Tasting, a showcase of artisan food and beverages, with a Maker's Market – an area that presents award-winning authors and artisans from Middle Tennessee.

Chef's Dinner will be Friday, September 20th at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $150

This limited seating, farm table dinner will showcase a curated collection of 5 chefs, each presenting their signature course. Tickets also include elevated wine pairings, a welcoming cocktail hour and live entertainment.

The Grand Tasting will be held on Saturday, September 21st from 4:00-10:00 pm. Tickets are $55.

The Grand Tasting is our premier showcase of artisan food and beverage. Ticket holders will have access to complimentary wine tastings and bites provided by regional chefs. Additional food, cocktails and pantry items will be available for sale. Ticket holders will also have access to the children's area and our Makers Market, highlighting award-winning authors and artisans from middle Tennessee.

6:30 pm – 8:30 pm: Appalachian Dinner: Legends of Sleepy Hollow with Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk

Join us for this year's HolidayFest Dinner and Story as Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk presents a dramatic solo show of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow!"

Enthralling thousands in the Hudson Valley since 1996, Kruk is the most renowned performer of Washington Irving's Fall Classic. On October 7th, the master storyteller, will give a rare, one-time performance, in Hendersonville, TN of his enthralling signature show!

Kruk gives character accents, Washington Irving's wit, and ghostly jumpstarts to regale all with the tale of a headless goblin chasing a Yankee Schoolmaster in this haunting holiday classic.

Discover why the New York Times stated,"His spirited, candlelit one-man show has become a fixture of Halloween!" Kruk has been featured on The Today Show, CBS Sunday Morning, The Travel Channel, and the BBC.

Join us on October 7th, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville, TN.

Authentic Appalachian Dinner is from 6:30-7:30 pm. Story Show begins after dinner, around 7:30 pm

Tickets are $50/person. Includes Dinner and Story

Appalachian Dinner includes: Roasted Pork, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, and Stack Cake for Dessert.

This special HolidayFest event benefits the Special Need Foundation and Project 22.

Help pull the flag on cancer! Join us and sign up for Football For A Cure, Flag Football Event!

Jameson Wharton at the age of 10 years old created this event Football for the Cure to raise money for Cancer research. Boys and Girls pay $5.00 to play Flag Football and ALL proceeds go to American Cancer Society. Any and All donations are accepted! This event is held every October.

Game Play/Sign Up Information Coming Soon! Girls and Boys will be able to play. Ages 6 years- 17 years.

The 5th Annual Hendersonville Pig Fest will be hosted at Veteran's Park in Hendersonville, TN. Supporting local charities and non-profits, this year's event includes a Friday Night Concert; and the backyard BBQ competition happens on Saturday. Bring the family and enjoy food trucks, vendors, more live music, The Parking Palette painting, a kids zone, and live pig races!

2:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony

The parade is one of the signature events of HolidayFest. The Parade today has over 90 entries which include bands, horses, and antique cars. Every year we have a GRAND MARSHALL, the King and Queen of HolidayFest along with their court of Lords and Ladies.

Don't miss this family tradition in Hendersonville, TN with floats, music, candy, and more!

This year's parade and tree lighting theme is "Candy Canes and Christmas Carols"

This year's Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony Judges Are: Dr. Paul Leavett, Alderman Terri Goodwin, Michael Sands, Scott Couch, Stephanie Johnson, and Lynn Bowles.
