We're Looking Ahead, and We Like What We See!

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As we step into the New Year, I extend my warmest greetings to all!

Thanks to your enthusiastic participation in exhibits and sold-out programs, your eager exploration of the natural world, and your generous support, 2023 was a year of great success. It was also a year marked by firsts. It was the first year of Second Grade at The Hundred Acre School, the first year that an Indigenous Interpreter joined our staff to engage with you in learning more about our Wampanoag exhibits, and the number one year for attendance in over thirty years.

Looking ahead to 2024, we can’t wait to welcome you back to explore perennial favorites like the gardens, the classic car collection, and the carousel. Captivating new exhibits include "Impressionist New England: Four Seasons of Color and Light" and "Alfie Glover in the Garden". Both promise to add unique dimensions to your Heritage experience.

The new year brings more exciting developments: ground-breaking for the new Welcome Center, and the re-opening of the Adventure Park at Heritage. Stay tuned to this newsletter, social media, and our website for the latest news about these projects, and for updates on exhibits and 2024 programs.

As we eagerly anticipate opening day on April 20th, I thank you for being the best part of Heritage. Great things are ahead! Join us!

Creating Cape Cod at Your Home or Business

As we say goodbye to the Creating Cape Cod exhibit, we have some elements that made that exhibit special that are looking for new homes. Do you need a lighthouse in your yard? A minigolf hole in your basement? A train car for your grandkids? Large scenes of the beach, railroad, or ships for your walls? Fire up your creativity and let us know if you or an organization you know would be interested.
