From: Holi At CheekwoodJoin Cheekwood as we celebrate Holi, the Indian “Festival of Spring” and “Festival of Colors.”
This educational event will introduce visitors to the vibrant sights, sounds, and colors of Indian culture. Hands-on activities for all ages, tasty fare from local food vendors, shopping opportunities, and music and dance performances will shine against the thousands of blooming bulbs. Holi activities are included with membership or general admission.
Schedule of Events:
9 AM – 3 PM: Hands-on activities
10 AM: Music and dance performance
10:45 AM: Color Throwing #1
11:30 AM: Music and dance performance
12:15 PM: Color Throwing #2
1:00 PM: Music and dance performance
1:45 PM: Color Throwing #3
2:30 PM: Music and dance Performance
3:15 PM: Color Throwing #4
New in 2024! Color packets are now included in the price of admission! Please Note: while the color powder is non-toxic and environmentally friendly, the powder will be thrown and potentially may get in eyes and/or mouths. Most of the color powder will shake off or wash off, but it may discolor clothes and/or cloth automobile seats. Only the powder provided by Cheekwood may be used. Preferred color cannot be guaranteed.
Please Note: No entry in to the mansion permitted if you have taken part in the color throwing.
