RGA RELEASES NEW AD: "SOFT ON CRIME"

The Republican Governors Association (RGA) launched a new ad in the North Carolina gubernatorial election, “Soft on Crime,” exposing Josh Stein’s liberal, soft on crime policies that are a threat to North Carolinians.

In the 30-second spot Randolph County Sheriff Gregory Seabolt details Stein’s disturbing decision to tout the endorsement of a group run by a defund the police radical just days after four law enforcement officers were killed in North Carolina.

Sheriff Seabolt continues to speak directly to North Carolina families describing Stein’s dangerous actions as Attorney General, including his push to eliminate cash bail and releasing violent criminals from prison early, that have made North Carolina less safe.

The ad is part of RGA’s initial seven-figure investment in the North Carolina gubernatorial race and will air on cable, broadcast, and digital platforms.

NRCC NAMES LAURIE BUCKHOUT TO YOUNG GUNS PROGRAM

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) today announced Laurie Buckhout is on the initial list of 26 candidates for the 2024 Young Guns program.

"Extreme House Democrat Don Davis has fueled the border, crime and cost of living crises that are wreaking havoc on North Carolinians' safety and security. Laurie Buckhout is in a prime position to flip North Carolina’s 1st District red and help grow our House majority in November." – NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar

The Young Gun program mentors and supports candidates in races across the country and works to provide them with the necessary tools to run successful, winning campaigns against their Democratic opponents.

The program requires candidates to work towards specific goals and meet benchmarks throughout the election cycle to ensure their campaigns remain competitive, well-funded and communicative within their districts.
