KBA Winterfest is a family event. We have a few special activities just for kids on Saturday!

Friday: 2-4pm - Slow Jam

This jam open to all ages, including kids who know how to play at least three chords on their instrument!

Saturday 10:30-11:30-Kid Instrument Petting Zoo

Erin Mae Lewis will head up the Kids' Instrument Petting Zoo again this year. Kids can explore different types of instruments and even make an instrument of their own.

Saturday 2-4pm - Kids' Jam and Youth Showcase Prep

Erin Mae Lewis will lead the kids' jam and help with showcase prep. Meet other kids who play music, form small ensembles, practice for the showcase performance, and have a lot of fun! Kids who don't play instruments are welcome to sing with us.

Saturday 4:00- Youth Showcase

Kids of all ages and skill levels are invited to perform on the main stage. Kids are encouraged to participate in the Jam and Showcase Prep from 2-4pm but must arrive by 3:30 to participate in the Showcase. Performers will receive a certificate of participation.

Saturday 4:00 - 6:00- Lovegrass Open Mic

All Saturday kids activities are free to the public. Parents/family members may attend the Youth Showcase for free. but must have festival tickets to attend other shows. Masks are recommended but not required.
