it's exciting to have a couple of regional bands that are really taking off. Up first, from Tennessee, Connor Kelly and the Time Warp will take the stage at 6:30. Fronted by Connor Kelly this band mixes indie rock with a little bit of soul and jazz – then drop in some rich synth tones and a moogish vibe and distort it ever so slightly and you have Connor Kelly and the Time Warp. Traveling from coast to coast, Connor and the Time Warp have made a name for themselves on the west coast and are bringing their unique sound closer to home! Take a listed to some Connor Kelly by clicking here for the Distant Forest video. This band is primed for stardom!!
And closing out the weekend with a little east coast vibe is Virginia Man. Virginia Man is an emotional folk-and-roll band comprised of Kristian Lietzan (singer/songwriter), Stephen Amoruso (bass/vocals), and Jamaal Farrow (drummer). With poetic lyrics and reviving the sounds of middle Appalachia, these guys champion the sound of Virginia! With lots of new music arriving this year, the boys have been out on the road! The live show has become a favorite of the band and audiences alike, like a sonic rollercoaster, akin to the plot of a great American classic, with gripping performances and storytelling, and celebratory beverages to follow. Want to hear – then click here!
2023 Labor Day Music Fest will be the best ever. Bring the kids and grandkids! We should have a couple of food trucks, but remember you can always drop in the Fanny Gold Mine Diner or Catherine's Market for food and drinks too!!
