Volunteer Spotlight: Eloise Thompson

Meet Eloise Thompson, a 13-year-old volunteer at Lachat Town Farm whose enthusiasm and dedication make her a cherished part of our community!
Inspired by her love for working with kids, Eloise serves as a Counselor in Training (CIT) in our camps and after-school programs. From sharing laughs with campers to learning about sustainability, Eloise brings curiosity and joy to everything she does.
“I’ve learned just how important it is to take care of our Earth,” she says. “Lachat feels like one big family, and I love being part of it.”
We’re so grateful for Eloise’s energy and commitment to giving back!
