Irish Step Dancers
Friday, March 17, 10 am, free
Enjoy the beauty, grace and spectacle of the dancers from Anam Cara Irish Dance School. The students will perform the intricate dances of Ireland, wearing traditional attire. Immerse yourself in the music, history, culture and elegance of the Emerald Isle while watching these young performers.
Irish Poetry with Ned Monaghan

A native of the Emerald Isle, our own Ned Monaghan will be sharing selections from his favorite Irish poets. Join us as we enjoy tea and Irish soda bread while hearing Ned’s lively recitation of some of Ireland’s greatest poetry. Erin go bragh!
Life Reimagined
Thursday, March 16, 1 pm, free, all are invited to attend
Purposeful living promotes happiness, better sleep, longevity and a healthier heart. Hosts Marcy Rand, LCSW, Adult and Senior Service Coordinator for New Canaan’s Human Services Department, and Robin Rockafellow, LCSW, lead an informal and friendly group discussion of creative ways to explore our interests, abilities, knowledge, and activities in connection to the community around us.
1. Scammers pretend to be from a familiar organization or agency, like the Social Security Administration. They may email attachments with official-looking logos, seals, signatures or pictures of employee credentials.
2. Scammers mention a problem or a prize. They may say your Social Security number was involved in a crime or ask for personal information to process a benefit increase.
3. Scammers pressure you to act immediately. They may threaten you with arrest or legal action.
4. Scammers tell you to pay using a gift card, prepaid debit card, cryptocurrency, wire or money transfer, or by mailing cash. They may also tell you to transfer your money to a “safe” account. Ignore scammers and report criminal behavior.
