From: Colorado Governor Jared PolisDENVER - On August 22, 2024, pursuant to her authority as acting Governor under the Colorado Constitution, Article IV, § 13, the Lieutenant Governor appointed Dayna L. Vise to the 11th Judicial District Court. The vacancy is created by the retirement of the Honorable Lynette M. Wenner, and the appointment is effective October 1, 2024.
Ms. Vise is a District Court Magistrate and Legal Research Attorney in the 11th Judicial District, a position she has held since 2022. Her work consists of civil and domestic relations matters. Previously, she was a Senior Managing Associate at the Polansky Law Firm, PLLC (2022); Lead Deputy State Public Defender at the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender’s Appellate Division (2011-2022); Deputy Public Defender at the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender’s Denver Regional Trial Office (2006-2011); and Law Clerk for the Honorable Dan Hale (2005-2006). Ms. Vise earned her B.A. at the University of Colorado in 2002 and her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2005.
