Story Time

10:00 - 10:30 AM

Join Ms. Alex and Ms. Joan on Wednesdays, to sing songs and listen to stories!  This story time will be held outside on the Lynnfield Town Common if the weather is nice. You are welcome to bring a blanket or chair to sit on. If it is too cold or rainy, story time will be held inside the library.  No registration required.

Recommended for children ages 5 and under.

Yoga

Thursdays at Noon

Join us for a 60-minute yoga flow! Instructor Tammy Syrigos Irrera will lead us through yoga poses over Zoom. Register with a valid email to receive the link to join the class. You will receive an email with login information a half hour before the class begins.

Take a break and make a Halloween themed beaded creation! This is a great time to make a new bracelet or a phone strap to match your case. We'll have special Halloween beads alongside a variety of beads available including animal clay beads, perler beads, pony beads and more! No registration required.

Do you swoon over enemies-turned-lovers? Do you read every Nora Roberts novel? Do you love curling up with the latest bodice ripper? Join Lynnfield’s new romance novel book club!  In October we will be reading a paranormal romance; Claimed by J. R. Ward.  Pick up your copy at the circulation desk.  No registration required.

Knock on Wood

Knock on Wood is a high-energy acoustic folk-rock duo, featuring singer-songwriter Howie Newman and Dave Talmage.  The duo performs Classic Rock covers and funny original songs suitable for all ages.  Registration requested for headcount.

One of the most engaging performers on the local music circuit, Howie combines music, comedy and audience participation to provide a truly unique entertainment experience.  Dave is a past winner of the Tennessee Songwriters Competition and runner-up in New England Banjo Championship.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lynnfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is funded by the Mass. Cultural Council, a state agency.
