At Madeira City Schools we want to be intentional about finding balance and some extra space for families and staff to have time to play a game together, have dinner together, go out for a sweet treat together, or simply take a walk together.  It’s all part of growing up in a healthy school community. The fun memories we make as a family are forever! - We invite you to nominate one of our outstanding Madeira educators for the Hamilton County Education Foundation (HCEF) Educator of the Year. One nominee will be selected to represent the district at the annual Celebrate Excellence Award Ceremony in May. The district representative will also be recognized by the Madeira School Board in May. Nominees must demonstrate a high commitment to student achievement, have the ability to challenge students at all levels, extend him or herself to make a positive difference, continue to improve and grow professionally, and demonstrate innovation and best practices. - The Madeira Athletic Boosters is sponsoring a “Super Bowl Square Fundraiser” to benefit Madeira Athletics.  Get in on the action as all proceeds support our student athletic programs - $1,100 in Cash Prizes! First, buy your $50 square(s) here, via HomeTown Ticketing. Then select your lucky Super Bowl Squares. Visit the Madeira Athletic Booster website for more details.  All proceeds benefit our local Madeira Middle and High School athletic programs.  We are running one pool only, when all squares are sold, the competition is closed to new participants…so please buy early to avoid disappointment. Super Bowl LVII is scheduled for Sunday, February 12.

- Tickets are now available for the Madeira Schools biggest fundraiser of the year - the Madeira Schools Foundation Auction! Join us for dinner by the bite, open bar, live music and a live auction you won’t want to miss on Saturday, March 11, from 6 to 10 PM at St. Gertrude’s Parish Center. Online bidding will begin soon, so stay tuned or see MSF Auction. Get ready to bid and boogie at this year’s annual auction! 

REMINDERS

- Kindergarten Registration To be eligible for enrollment for the 2023-24 school year, you must reside within the school district boundaries and demonstrate proof of residence as outlined in the online registration process, and your child must be five years old on or before September 30, 2023.  

- Preschool Registration For the 2023-24 school year, children must be 3 by August 31, 2023 AND must live in Madeira (unless a parent is employed by Madeira City Schools).
