From: Marlborough Public LibraryIf you are a Marlborough resident graduating from high school and have been accepted to a 2 or 4-year program, you may be eligible for a Marlborough Public Library Board of Trustees Scholarship!

Applications for the scholarship are due March 27, 2023.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Resident of Marlborough
-Graduating from high school or completing an equivalent program
-Accepted at an accredited two or four year institution of higher learning
-Must have a valid Marlborough Public Library (CWMARS) card in good standing (There is still time to apply for a library card. We will not accept your parent’s card. Call the library to make sure your card is still active if you already have one and have not used it recently)
REQUIREMENTS:
Write an essay that addresses the following prompt:
What is the role of a public library in today's digital age?
-The essay must be your own original work, not previously submitted for classwork. The essay must be 500 words or less, typed, double-spaced, with 1” margins. Attach the application form to your essay. Your name should not appear on your essay.
-No transcript or grades required.
-A committee from the Marlborough Public Library Board of Trustees will read all the essays and choose one winner or multiple winners at their discretion.
