Mayberry Days is a festival for the whole family with activities and events for the fans who long for the days when life was simple and the sheriff didn't carry a gun. Enjoy a bottle of pop while playing checkers, relax to music from many local bands playing the same songs that Andy grew up with and performed on The Andy Griffith Show.

3:00 pm: THE BELLAMY BROTHERS

The Bellamy Brothers return to Mount Airy to kick off the week with a Sunday matinee show. If you missed their sold out concert in 2023, here is your chance to hear them live in concert!

From "Let Your Love Flow", to "If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me)?" to their latest double cd, "40 Years", this duo continues to connect with audiences all over the world- and especially the Mayberry audience with their song "The Andy Griffith Show". 7:00 p.m: MURDER IN COWETA COUNTY with Producer Dick Atkins

Movie Producer Dick Atkins returns to Mayberry Days for this exclusive screening and stories of the making of the movie Murder in Coweta County starring Andy Griffith and Johnny Cash. There are opportunities to watch the movie and get a unique behind the scenes look at the making of this production and working with Andy Griffith including photos from the movie production. The event includes a Question and Answer session and sales of DVDs and movie posters.

Based on a true story, Murder in Coweta County features Andy Griffith as you’ve rarely seen him, in one of his most dramatic roles! In 1948, Coweta County, Georgia, is watched over by it legendary, indomitable Sheriff Lamar Potts (Johnny Cash). In the next county, a vast estate known as "The Kingdom," is ruled by John Wallace (Andy Griffith), whose power is absolute. But when Wallace chases one of his underlings to deliver ruthless punishment, he makes a critical mistake: he crosses over into Coweta County. TV Guide declared "Andy Griffith is superbly villainous; Johnny is… the ultimate lawman."

7:30 pm: THE ENTERTAINERS - Mayberry Days Concert

Beach Music has long been a tradition in The South, and The Entertainers are proud to have shared in that tradition for over 30 years.

The Entertainers were founded In 1980 and scored their first regional smash hit with "Living For The Summer" that same year. This song helped propel the group to the forefront of beach music, which led to their playing the finest clubs along the grand strand of Myrtle Beach, corporate conventions, weddings and festivals from Washington, DC to Naples, Florida.

While staying true to their RandB and Beach Music roots, the group also satisfies the most diverse audiences by playing selections from the latest Top 40, Classic Rock and Roll and Country music. The group's years of performing experience and recording prowess culminated in the release of their latest album entitled, "The Inside Story". This record, which contains the #1 Beach Music hit, "Thank Goodness She Cheated" and Classic Beach and Soul hits, will surely lead you to the dance floor with a smile on your face.

10:00 a.m: RANDY TURNER "THE INCREDIBLE CAREER OF DON KNOTTS"

Don Knotts would have turned 100 this year, so what better time to celebrate his lengthy career? This audio-visual show will be an extended overview of Don's career. Filled with clips from his many roles, including plenty, of course, as Barney Fife. The two-hour presentation will also include a short QandA.

Randy Turner is the author of multiple books on the classic series and his writing has appeared in "Nostalgia Digest" and "Mayberry Magazine." He is an experienced public speaker who gives presentations on the show.  A QandA will follow the presentation.

5:00 p.m. - 8:00 pm: MAYBERRY DAYS BUFFET DINNER AND ENTERTAINMENT

The evening includes country buffet dinner, golf awards presentation, recognition of the Special Guests, and family friendly entertainment.

Dinner guests have the opportunity to meet and greet the Special Guests for the first autograph session from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Avoid the long lines on Saturday! They will have memorabilia, art and photos for autographs. There is a nominal fee for autographed items during the festival.

The country buffet meal will be served from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with entertainment from 6:00-8:00 pm. The Mayberry Days Golf Tournament (aka "The Emmett") is held at Cross Creek Country Club before the dinner.

11:00 am: KAREN KNOTTS "Make America Funny Again"

Author-actor-comedian and daughter of your favorite television Deputy, Karen Knotts returns to Mayberry Days! Join us for Karen's new show featuring the Top 10 reasons to elect Barney Fife for President in 2024. "Make America Funny Again!"

Her latest book is available at the Andy Griffith Museum Gift Shop and Historic Earle Theatre. She will be autographing her book and photos after the event.

You've read his books, flipped his daily calendar, and heard him on the Two Chairs No Waiting Podcast. Join Randy Turner for this fascinating behind the scenes audio-visual presentation filled with clips from The Andy Griffith Show about the Desilu backlot that served as the filming location for the town of Mayberry. Rodney Dillard, one of the original Darling Boys from The Andy Griffith Show, returns with his band to Mayberry Days for another great bluegrass concert, filled with songs performed on the show and original Dillards hits. Rodney is a member of the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and two time Grammy Nominee. Dillardgrass - often imitated, never duplicated!

7:00 pm: MICHAEL HOOVER: "MEMORIES OF ELVIS" with Denise Glass as Patsy Cline

Michael Hoover returns to Mayberry Days with another spectacular evening of music and memories of Elvis Presley with Special Guest Denise Glass as Patsy Cline. You'll hear all the favorites from Elvis' favorite gospel songs to the hits that made him the King of Rock-n-Roll. The show has expanded to 90 minutes this year. Denise Glass as Patsy Cline will join Michael Hoover for special selections. Don't miss this exciting show and see why Michael Hoover is one of the finest entertainers in the business!

9:30 pm: TIM WHITE and TROUBLESOME HOLLOW

Troublesome Hollow is a dynamic bluegrass and Americana band from Hickory Tree, Tennessee. The band has been together for many years performing all across the eastern United States. Tim White on banjo, guitar and vocals, Donnie Ollis on guitar and vocals and his younger brother Garry Ollis on upright bass and vocals. The band performs everything from hard driving traditional bluegrass to newgrass, old time music, ballads as well as Americana and comedy. They have six recordings to their credit as well as appearing on many television shows and recently on Song of the Mountains seen across America on public television (PBS). Tim White has hosted Song of the Mountains since its beginning in 2005. Tim also hosts his nationally syndicated radio show “The Tim White Bluegrass Show” across America on 60 plus radio stations.
