Dr. Richard A. Carvajal, president of Valdosta State University, recently honored Dr. Victoria Russell with the 2023 Presidential Excellence Award for The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. She joined the VSU faculty in 2010 and currently serves as a professor in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
