This Love Week, celebrate YOU! Take a moment to feel pride in yourself for the progress you have made in your classes this year. For all classes on February 11-17, students are welcome to dress up in their favorite color leotard or fancy skirt, or favorite color socks or shirt for the boys. Wear something decorative in your hair, maybe even try this heart bun tutorial. Bring a crown and wear it proudly this week, you’ve worked hard and you’ve earned it! Whatever you choose, make it something that makes you feel special and represents the love you have for yourself that you can pass on to others.

Love for Your Friends

Bring a friend to your favorite dance class. No dance experience necessary to share in your Happy Place. Open to students in Ballet 3 and under, jazz, contemporary, and musical theater.

Love for Your Family

Join us on Friday, February 10th from 6:30-8 pm for a Family Dance Night: an exciting night of parent/child partner dances, learning the basics of Salsa, Merengue, and other styles with Roxey Company Artist Daniel Ricardo Rocha and his mother, Angela-Maria Cartagena. For everyone ages 6 and up, this special event is a chance for parents and their children to kick off Love Week with music and dance along with the whole Mill Ballet School Family. Tickets are a suggested minimum donation of $20 per parent/child pair with all proceeds going to support families with tuition needs. This 90-minute extravaganza will culminate in a full sequence of movements that everyone will learn together and will create a special memory for you and your child!

Love for Your Dance Community

Let’s fill the studio with heartwarming messages to each other! Purchase a paper heart for $1 and leave a note to our dance community about what you love about Mill Ballet School, your teachers, or each other. We strongly believe that dance is for all and proceeds will go to support families with tuition needs. Hearts go on sale this Monday, February 6th.

Young Dancer's Workshop

July 10-14 | July 17-21 | July 24-28 | August 14-18

Ages 7 - 10 | M-F | 9:30am - 3:00pm

The Mill Ballet School's Young Dancers Workshop has been developed specifically for young dancers ages 7-10 providing them with an introduction to more serious dance training.

The goal of the workshop is to give each individual a deeper and more thorough understanding of their technique and the art of dance. While the main focus is on classical ballet, our young dancers will be exposed to other forms of dance including jazz, improv, contemporary, and flamenco. 

The day will conclude with discussions in proper nutrition for young dancers, injury prevention, anatomy, and dance history along with dance videos.

Cinderella's Royal Tea Party

Cinderella's Royal Tea Party

Spend a magical afternoon with Cinderella and her friends as you enjoy some tea, sweets and dancing! The Fairy God Mother will also be making a guest appearance for a fun story time and dance class.

Join us at the Roxey Event Center Sunday April 23rd at 2pm.

The length of the tea party is approximately 2 hours.

River Dance Festival 2023: Applications Now Open!
August 18th-20th 2023

The Roxey Ballet Company will be hosting the second annual River Dance Festival! This three day long event will feature choreographers and dance companies across the nation. 

The mission of the River Dance Festival is to give choreographers, performers, and creators, a platform to present their work (with an emphasis on BIPOC artists). The festival provides artists professional theatrical space to perform and rehearse, a high quality video of their show and audience feedback. 

This festival is structured around the topic of social justice and equity and we will be taking into special consideration choreographer's that are able to represent this theme in their work. Roxey Ballet is excited to to host artists of all backgrounds the opportunity to influence cultural or racial change in society, speak their truth, and/or advance efforts to create equity in the arts. 

We welcome all styles of dance and you may apply with a solo, duet or group. Performances will be held at the Roxey Event Center in New Hope PA.
