Roxey Ballet's Cinderella This Weekend
The cast of Roxey Ballet's Cinderella is made up of company dancers as well as students from the Mill Ballet School and local area dance schools. The mix of both professional dancers and students allows for a unique experience for the cast where young dancers share the stage with seasoned artists. For the audience, this means experiencing the joys of watching children as young as 4 years old make their stage debuts, seeing older students showcase what they have learned in their training, and watching talented professionals who command the stage.
It's not too late to purchase tickets for this weekend's performances of Cinderella. May 6-7 at 2 pm at Villa Victoria Theater, Ewing, NJ.
Get To Know the Prince
Roxey Ballet company artist Teryn Trent is dancing in his third Cinderella production and his first as the Prince, dancing alongside his good friend Pinja that plays Cinderella and many of his students from the Mill Ballet School. "My experience being the prince has been a very positive one. I think it’s so interesting how princes are danced in classical ballets and I find it challenging to convey all of the emotions of the Prince throughout the ballet while maintaining royal decorum. Falling in love is a universal theme that I use to ground myself as the character, and I do my best to maintain that throughout the ballet."
