Government and Politics

Minnesota Republican Party Chairman Alex Plechash is calling on Governor Tim Walz and DFL leaders to immediately denounce and take responsibility for state-funded training that falsely labels the Republican Party as “overtly” white supremacist.
A shocking report from Alpha News (link) has revealed that Minnesota state employees were subjected to government-mandated training that defames and misrepresents the values of millions of Minnesotans. The training materials, funded by taxpayer dollars, claimed that the U.S. Republican Party is aligned with white supremacy and an autocratic agenda.
“This is a disgusting and blatantly partisan attack on not just the Republican Party, but on the millions of Minnesotans who share conservative values,” said Chairman Plechash. “That this was ever approved and distributed within our state government is a clear sign of political indoctrination at taxpayer expense.”
While the Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) department has since removed the material from its training program, no explanation has been given for how it was approved in the first place. Chairman Plechash is demanding that Governor Walz and DFL leadership:
“If Governor Walz and the DFL refuse to condemn this outright, then they are complicit in the smear campaign against Republicans,” added Plechash. “Every Minnesotan, regardless of party, should be outraged that the state government is being used as a political weapon.”
The Minnesota GOP is calling on all concerned citizens to contact their elected officials and demand immediate action.
