From: MLK Celebration - Parade And Community FestivalThe annual Longview Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration includes a full weekend of activities celebrating the life, message, and dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The activities are organized by the Office of Arts and Culture in collaboration with various city departments and community partners such as Arts!Longview, Longview Ministerial Alliance, CHRISTUS Good Shepherd, Partners in Prevention, Unity and Diversity Committee, and others.

Opening Reception and Jazz Concert

Saturday January 18,2025
10 a.m Parade on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
Parade Route will be along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Starts at Ryder Street and concludes at Broughton Recreation Center.
Free to attend.
$10 per parade entry. Advance registration is required; no registrations will be accepted on the day of the parade.
Parade entries must read and abide by parade guidelines.
Submit a nomination for the parade grand marshal.
