At MCNY, history and holiday cheer come together in our third annual gingerbread exhibition, featuring a miniature cityscape full of sweet surprises! This year, talented bakers—both professional and amateur—from across the five boroughs have created stunning displays inspired by the theme "Iconic New York."

Step into an aromatic winter wonderland where beloved neighborhood spots and famous landmarks are reimagined in gingerbread, capturing the essence of the city’s most iconic sights. Visit soon and experience the magic for yourself!

Above Ground: Art from the Martin Wong Graffiti Collection

Above Ground is featured in The New Yorker’s Winter Culture Preview! Opening in two weeks, this groundbreaking exhibition highlights the transformative journey of artists who transitioned from writing on subway cars to creating iconic paintings on canvas. With over 300 works by trailblazing artists like Rammellzee, Lee Quiñones, Lady Pink, and Futura 2000, this exhibition showcases the diverse mediums—ranging from aerosol to ink—that these artists used to bring their street-inspired visions into galleries and museums worldwide.
