At the heart of NutRemix lies New Ballet’s mission: pushing artistic horizons and making dance accessible to all.

The show audiences know and love is brought to life by New Ballet Ensemble’s professionals and students, with the return of notable alumni and inaugural NutRemix cast members. Fresh off Broadway, Maxx Reed serves as Creative Director, adding a fresh perspective with new elements. Globally acclaimed dancer, Lil Buck, stars as the Memphis Angel, a role he created. Witness an unparalleled production featuring the Memphis Symphony Orchestra and Big Band, breathing life into classics by Duke Ellington, Booker T. and the MG’s and a remixed classical Tchaikovsky score. Dynamic choreography weaves a rich tapestry of cultural influences, including hip-hop, Memphis Jookin, Spanish dance and West African dance and drumming.
