the week of August 21
Have you heard, Smith Library will have some "new residents" taking up space in the children's library! During this six week period families will be able to experience the life cycle of a chicken first hand. Once hatched, the chicks will be enjoyed by many till it is time to head back to the farm.

Making Comics Workshop
Wednesday August 16
12:30PM - 2PM
at Atwater Memorial Library
ages 8 and up
We will be practicing our drawing, composition skills and panel layout. Learn how to come up with a storyline, and develop a character, along with other topics related to creating comics.
Cara will share the techniques she has learned from her experience as a comic artist over the years.
