CROWN POINT, Ind. – January 13, 2024  – Northwestern Mutual Indiana’s Crown Point office announces Austin Stanley as Managing Director. As a proud native of “the Region” and ranked among Forbes Top Financial Security Professionals Best-in-State for 2024, Stanley brings nearly a decade of experience with Northwestern Mutual and a deep-rooted commitment to serving the Northwest Indiana community. 

Stanley’s rich background, from playing college football in North Manchester, Indiana, to studying abroad in Barcelona, has shaped his unique approach to leadership. Growing up in Crown Point, he developed a strong connection to the Region’s tight-knit community and a desire to give back. His path to financial planning was inspired by a combination of personal experiences and a drive to help others overcome financial challenges and achieve their goals.

“I’ve always wanted to make a difference in people’s lives,” Stanley said. “This new role allows me to expand that impact – helping individuals in our community take control of their financial futures while also guiding our team to grow and thrive.”

A 2016 graduate of Manchester University, Stanley began his career with Northwestern Mutual as a college intern and has since earned the trust of clients while mentoring rising talents. In his new role, he will focus on expanding the Crown Point office’s presence in Northwest Indiana, mentoring financial representatives and helping clients achieve their financial goals. Stanley is dedicated to fostering a collaborative culture and extending the office’s outreach in the community. 

Beyond financial leadership, Stanley actively contributes to community initiatives such as food and coat drives, Meals on Wheels, Angel Tree and 500 Turkeys. His goal is to expand Northwestern Mutual’s footprint in the Region while continuing to serve the people and neighborhoods that have shaped his life.
