Concetta “Tina” Vittorio, age 61 of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on February 10, 2025, in the comfort of her daughter’s home, surrounded by her family. Tina bravely fought a fierce battle against liver and pancreatic cancer for nine months like the warrior she was. Born in Bridgeport on November 21, 1963, she was the cherished daughter of Ralph and Claire “Lavoie” Vittorio of Shelton. Tina was raised in Bridgeport and Shelton. She was a 1981 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School, Trumbull. She then graduated from the National Academy of Hairdressing and worked as a cosmetologist for many years. Recently, Ms. Vittorio worked as a bartender at the Lemco Club in Ansonia, where she delivered spirits to all her friends with a smile, until the time of her illness. Tina was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, and attended bike rallies in Daytona, Florida and Sturgis, South Dakota. Some of her best Saturdays were spent on the back of her “ole man’s” bike, cruising thru the back roads of CT. She loved the beach, was an avid concert goer, and annually attended the Stratford Blues on the Beach Music Festival. Tina made lasting fun memories with whomever crossed her path. She will be long remembered for her mesmerizing blue eyes, her free spirit, and for her unconditional love for her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved parents, she is survived by her devoted daughters, Sandra Concetta Listro and her partner Daniel Komarowsky of Beacon Falls and Nikki C. Sumner and her husband, Joseph Sumner III of FL; sister, Michelle Laliots and her husband, Thomas of Shelton; her beloved companion, Michael A. Troutman of Shelton; brother-in-law, Mark Winters of Ansonia; cherished grandchildren, Kayleigh Grace & Joseph Sumner IV of FL; nieces and nephews, Victoria & TJ Laliots of Shelton, and Joseph & Christopher Winters of Ansonia; as well as an abundance of cousins that will miss her dearly. Ms. Vittorio was predeceased by her sister, Annette “Annie” Vittorio Winters.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A celebration of Tina’s life will take place at 4:30 PM. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
