One Year: NCGOP Stands With Israel On One-Year Anniversary Of Hamas Terrorist Attack

Government and Politics

October 7, 2024

Today marks one year since the heinous attack on Israel and Jewish people around the world by the terrorist group Hamas. This horrific attack butchered 1,200 innocent people, including more than 40 Americans.

The North Carolina Republican Party stands firmly with our ally, Israel, as they continue their efforts to keep their citizens safe.

Not only do we stand with Israel, we call for the safe return of North Carolina native Keith Siegel, who was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023.

"The North Carolina Republican Party stands with Israel and with the Jewish community. We have not forgotten the terrorist attack committed by Hamas and have not forgotten that a North Carolinian is still held hostage by Hamas right now. As domestic politics continue to put support for Israel in jeopardy, we will do our part to call out antisemitism at home and support our closest Middle East ally in a dangerous world made more unsafe by the current administration." - NCGOP Chairman Jason Simmons.
