From: Oregon Truffle Festival

Oregon Truffle Festival events start next week!

We can’t wait to meet all the new canine contestants on February 8 at the Joriad North American Truffle Championship. There are still tickets available to this fun annual event at Lane County Fairgrounds in Eugene.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Get your tickets to our Valentine’s weekend in Astoria! The weekend kicks off with a Valentine's Evening party and truffle feast, then continues with a Fungi Film Foray on Saturday, and closes with the Fresh Oregon Truffle Showcase on Sunday.

We’re so excited for the wonderful food at our Valentine’s Masquerade in Astoria. At this Friday night party, each chef will create a dish with black truffles and another with white truffles. You’ll have your fill of savory and sweet plates at this truffle feast, accompanied by great live music from Casanostra and a special Valentine's cocktail, as well as wine and beer from Fort George Brewery. Check out this interview on KOIN Foodie Friday with one of our guest chefs!

Some of the dishes you’ll find throughout the weekend:

- Dungeness crab with white truffle butter on bay leaf focaccia
- Confit quail with sweet potatoes and black truffles
- Mini sourdough bowls with wild mushrooms and truffled farmers cheese
- White truffle pasta with nettle pesto
- Truffled berry marshmallows

We’ve partnered with Willamette Valley Vineyards this year to host two gala dinners, on February 22 and 23. Saturday is sold out, but there are still seats left for the Sunday dinner on February 23rd.

This incredible dinner prepared by Oregon Truffle Festival Culinary Director Charles Ruff and Willamette Valley Vineyards Executive Chef DJ McIntyre will be a feast for the senses: not just your palate, but your nose and eyes as well! Each course features dog-harvested truffles from our trusted foraging partners, paired with world class wines from Willamette Valley Vineyards. You do not want to miss this feast!
