Happy Thursday! We hope everyone is having an great week! If you are looking for something fun this weekend, we have you covered! We will be hosting Parents Night Out at Steam Pump Ranch on Friday night and the Movie on the Lawn at the Community Center on Saturday night. Details: Come enjoy a beautiful night of music on the lawn at Steam Pump Ranch! Food trucks, soda and water will be available for purchase. This event will not have alcohol available for purchase. Be sure to bring your own chair or blanket. Entrainment will be provided by Znora Band, which is the 2023 Oro Valley Battle of the Bands winner!
BARK IN THE PARK
Date: Saturday, September 30

Location: Steam Pump Ranch, 10901 N. Oracle Road
Details: Oro Valley Parks and Recreation will be hosting a FREE community event for those with furry family dogs at home, Bark in the Park! Join the fun on Saturday, September 30 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Steam Pump Ranch. Bring your family, friends and doggies! There will be adoptable dogs, food trucks, music, crafts for kids, dog talent show, dog costume contest, prizes, local business and organization booths, and much more. The Dog Talent Show and Costume Contest will have on-site registration the day of the event. Entry is free! Prizes for the contest have been donated by our event sponsors: Pet Friendly Fun and Dogs and Donuts! FAMILY CAMPING AT STEAM PUMP RANCH
Date: Saturday, October 14 - Sunday, October 15
Time: 4 p.m. - 10 a.m.
Location: 10901 N Oracle Rd.
Details: Bring the family and spend the night at Steam Pump Ranch. We will have all the fun of going camping without the travel. Whether you are a seasoned camper, or this is your first night outside, you will have a great time! Participants will bring their own tent and sleeping gear for the night. Get ready to learn some camping skills from the pros. Don't know how to set up a tent? We can help with that. We will have hotdogs and chips for dinner and then make smores and watch Jungle Cruise on our large outdoor screen before heading to bed beneath the cradle of Pusch Ridge. When you wake up the next morning prepare for an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast! One thing is for sure, you won't go home hungry. Registration is for one family. At least one person in the family must be 18 or older to register and must attend.

FALL ADULT KICKBALL LEAGUE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
Date(s): Sundays September 24 - November 19 (no games October 15)
Time: Games will be played at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Location: James D. Kriegh Park, 23 W. Calle Concordia
Details: This Co-ed, adult (ages 18+) league will run for 7 games plus an end of season tournament (8 weeks total). For any questions about the league or registration contact Brock Long, 520-229-5364. Team rosters must contain at least 1 female for every 2 males (2:1 ratio).

Our guided hikes are the perfect way to spend some time with your friends, make new ones and explore new trails in Oro Valley and surrounding areas.

Details: In this fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, often neglecting the importance of nourishing our bodies and minds. But today, we invite you to slow down, be present, and embark on a journey toward a healthier relationship with food. This class is presented by Jayme White, MS, Integrative Clinical Nutritionist & Certified Nutrition Specialist!

PAINTING AND DRAWING WITH CHRISTINE LYTWYNZUK

Location: Community & Recreation Center, 10555 N. La Canada Drive
Details: Join us at our fun and supportive Painting and Drawing class. This class is structured like a “small group private lesson.” Christine will work with artists one-on-one, helping them achieve their specific goals in art at their own pace. All skill levels are welcome! If you’ve never touched a brush before or can’t draw with a pencil, no problem! Christine can help you build a strong foundation and give you the confidence you need to make art an enjoyable and rewarding part of your life.
PHOTOGRAPHY CLASSES

Details: This class will be taught at various locations and will provide instruction for a variety of photography skills and techniques. The 4-week session will cover a variety of photography: basic, bird, architectural and street and candid photography. These group classes will be taught by an instructor with more than 25 years of experience.
Cost: $180 for 4-week session or $50 per class
