Happy Thursday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful week and you're enjoying the holidays! SnOV is here! Last we checked Santa had just passed Casa Grande and as long as he doesn't hit traffic he should be here on time! Please read on to learn more and stay safe and healthy Oro Valley!

SnOV: An Oro Valley Holiday Event
Date: Thursday, December 21
Time: 5-8 p.m.
Location: Oro Valley Community Center, 10555 N. La Canada Dr. 
Details: Join us for the  SnOV event at the Oro Valley Community & Recreation Center. The event will feature games, crafts, a photo booth, food and drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) available for purchase, actual SNOW and a visit from Santa! Due to limited parking at the Community Center, the Town is asking visitors to park at the Oro Valley Town Hall parking lot (11000 North La Cañada Drive) and walk over to the event. Hot Cocoa 5K - Register today!
Date: Monday, January 1, 2024
Time: Race starts at 11:24 a.m.
Location: Steam Pump Ranch, 10901 N. Oracle Road
Details: The TENTH annual race will take place along the multi-use path, beginning at Steam Pump Ranch, and will include snacks, water and of course, hot cocoa. It's a fun way to start your New Year's resolutions! Runners, walkers and strollers welcome.

SECOND SATURDAY AT STEAM PUMP RANCH
Date: Saturday, January 13
Time: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location: Steam Pump Ranch, 10901 N. Oracle Road
Details: One of Steam Pump Ranch's favorite community events, Second Saturdays, takes place on the second Saturday of each month from October through April. Each event will include tours of the historical area of the property, prehistoric demonstrations, the Oro Valley Farmer's Market, the Makers Market featuring arts and crafts from community creatives, and kids' crafts. BEYOND HIKE
Date: Saturday, January 13
Time: Arrive at 8:45 a.m. for 9 a.m. start
Location: Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve, 945 W. Pebble Creek Dr. 
Details: Join us for the Beyond annual tradition as we explore the outdoors with a hike at Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve - South Trail. This loop trail is a paved 2.3 mile path. Strollers are welcomed and pets must be leashed.
