Carnival Time!

Kids or kids at heart, are you ready to ride all your favorite carnival rides? Come on down to the Midway running Friday, Saturday & Sunday and stretches through all of downtown. Family Fun Tyme will be providing all the rides, games and food carts that you love. So grab an elephant ear and hop aboard the ferris wheel and enjoy.

You can purchase pre-sale carnival wristbands all the way up the start of the festival at City Hall, Ovid Cafe or The Meridian Weekly. They are $15 each or $20 after the festival starts.

Entertainment

Come Join us for three days of live music down at the Entertainment Tent on Main Street. Enjoy all the local bands playing the music you love.

Lifelong Ovid Residents, Larry & Carol Bashore have been chosen as the 2023 Ovid Carriage Days Parade Marshals. The couple have been an active part of the Ovid community for decades from operating a business, to serving in government, to supporting the community whenever asked. They have raised 4 children and been blessed with 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandsons. They will ride in the parade on Saturday, September 9th in a beautiful white carriage from PJ’s Percherons of Owosso.
