Donor Provides Financial Incentive

We recently received a generous donation in memory of Gary Smith. His daughter’s deep Christian faith compelled her to donate a percentage of her inheritance to impact the lives of women in need. Her thoughtful and creative solution for using the funds led us to create a Savings Match Program for the families in the Family Emergency Shelter. Now, each woman who saves $300 during her stay will receive matching funds of $300!

Having heard that there were several women who have already met the challenge, the donor will be gifting additional funds to increase the match!

We are grateful for her faithful heart and generous contribution to PVSS in her father’s memory.

UCSC Klesis Christian Fellowship Offers Hope

We are thankful for the monthly visits from Klesis Christian Fellowship of UCSC. They show up each month with energy and love for the children of PVSS. The children have so much fun playing games, creating arts and crafts, and learning from these college-aged mentors.
