A Special Thank You!

To Monica Jacobs for spear-heading a Holiday Clothing Drive to benefit PVSS families. With drop off locations at Carmona's BBQ and Staff of Life in Watsonville, Monica rallied the community and gathered much needed clothing and goods for families living in PVSS housing.

Thank you, Monica and Friends!

Valentine's Day Party!

Gracepoint Church and its  Klesis Christian Fellowship provided Valentine's Day activities for PVSS Shelter participants - games, races, and singing followed by an inspirational message. There were lots of smiles, giggles, comradery, and fun for all!

The Helpful Shop
Helps Homeless Families

On Sunday, May 19th, the Episcopal Church of St John awarded PVSS with funds that will be used to pay childcare costs for parents who are attending on-site educational classes and workshops related to our Emotional Stability, Coordinated Economic Development and Hope and Home Tenant education programs. Thank you to Diane Scofield and her team of volunteers in the Helpful Shop! Their hard work and dedication made this grant possible.

Hope & Home Workshop in Progress

Once permanent housing is achieved, keeping it is paramount! The Hope and Home Tenant Education Program teaches families their rights and responsibilities, how to be great tenants and neighbors, how to manage their rent and expenses, and how to avoid the common pitfalls leading to housing instability or eviction.

Amazon Wish List!

When serving over 200 people each year, the needs are never-ending! Please check our list for the latest items needed and donate if you can. The list is updated as new needs arise. Thank you!
