A showcase of bands specially curated for three evenings of intimate surroundings with fantastic sound to capture the whole spirit of the heavy rock world. A concert. A party. A gathering of musicians and fans from around the globe.

These shows are evening-only, so you can sleep in and still enjoy all that Vegas offers during the day before rocking out with us all night!

Unida/ California Desert

Desert rock legends Unida have proven over the years that their riff driven heavy rock style is one that has stood the test of time. With John's blessing Unida has continued to get out there are blow away crowds with the high energy style that guitarist Arthur Seay plays. Unida will be headlining Night 1 of PDRW V at Count's Vamp'd.

Mr. Bison (Italy)

Mr. Bison has been one busy band since appearing at Planet Desert Rock Weekend II. Their latest album “Echoes of the Universe” has made an amazing splash in 2024 including landing #2 on the Doom Charts for February. Mr. Bison have continued to evolve and challenge themselves including adding a new member who is a multi instrumentalist. We can’t wait to have them back and hear the new stuff live! Mr. Bison is part of the Heavy Psych Sounds label.

Sons of Arrakis (Montreal , Canada)

Early on Vegas Rock Revolution has been touting and working with Sons of Arrakis and after hoping to have them as part of PDRW IV, we are excited to have them for 2025! Their sound is an outstanding blend of heavy rock/ heavy psych/ progressive/ stoner with a backdrop of being a Dune themed band. Their debut album ended #2 for 2022 on the VRR end of the year list right behind PDRW alumni Freedom Hawk (2). Their album landed #1 on Doom Charts for July 2022 and #8 overall for the year. SOA Volume II album landed #3 on The Doom Charts for June 2024 on Black Throne Productions. Sons of Arrakis gets over 82,000 monthly plays on Spotify!

Samavayo (Germany)

This German trio has been releasing amazing heavy rock since 2003! Their evolution of sound and influence have changed some over the years but at their core they are a heavy rock band that writes rocking songs that are catchy but yet get you moving. They have played with many of the top bands in the world whether it was on tour or at a festival. Samavayo's album "Payan" landed #2 on the Doom Charts for March 2022. This will be their 1st time playing the USA!

Planet Desert Rock Night 3 - Mos Generator/Sergeant Thunderhoof/The Watchers/Solace/Omega Sun/Green Desert Water at The Usual Place

Mos Generator/ Washington State

Mos Generator is kickstarting their engines and will be perfoming for the 1st time at PDRW. Led by frontman Tony Reed who has been a mainstay in the scene for decades and currently is pumping out killer stuff with Big Scenic Nowhere (features Bob Balch of Fu Manchu, Gary Arce of Yawning Man and others). Mos Generator will be playing tracks from their early catalog so get ready for Lonely One Kenobi and other classic tracks.

Sergeant Thunderhoof/ United Kingdom

Making their USA debut and exclusive show in North America is Sergeant Thunderhoof. Their unique sound has evolved as each album presents a story or an adventure in music. Their just released album "The Ghost on Badon Hill" is already getitng AOTY mentions. Vocalist Dan Flitcroft is reknown in the scene for his excllents vocals and lyrics.

The Watchers/ California

The Watchers was the final band announced for PDRW V and we sure are happy to have them finally make it to PDRW. This band is fronted by Tim Narducci who has sang for such bands as Spiralarms, Systematic and White Witch Canyon. Their style is heavy riffing rock with very strong vocals. Their recent Ripple Music release shot up to #7 on the May Doom Charts.

Solace/ New Jersey

Solace crusises west for the first time and will be bringing quite possibly the heaviest set of the evening. This stoner metal band has been around since the late 90s! Their last release in 2019 wowed everyone with album "The Brink" thst ushered in new vocalist Justin Goins.

Omega Sun/Slovenia

Omega Sun returns to PDRW on the heels of a very well received album "Roadkill" that landed #9 for the month of September 2023 on The Doom Charts as voted on by insiders from around the world. Their sound draws from grunge, stoner , heavy rock and doom. Power chords to keep you grooving.

Green Desert Water/ Spain

PDRW is excited to have Green Desert Water returning to the fold. Their high energy retro style heavy rock has an infectious sound that gets people moving. Both of their full length albums were released by one of the top labels in the scne, Small Stone Records and landed in the Top 10 albums on Vegas Rock Revolution's end of year lists.
