Polk County Public Schools will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 9, for Central Florida Aerospace Academy – Winter Haven Senior High.

The event will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, at the Winter Haven Regional Airport, 3000 21st St. NW in Winter Haven.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will help commemorate a big step for the new aerospace program. Portable classrooms and other features have been installed to allow CFAA students to pursue hands-on lessons on airport property.

Guests will have a designated parking area at the airport and will then be directed to the ribbon cutting area. See the attached map for directions to the parking area
