Pop YS Con: Call For Proposals Now Open!

Share Your Knowledge With Youth Librarians Statewide!
If you have a great program, service or concept for youth or teens that you're passionate to share with your fellow youth librarians; submit a proposal to present at Pop YS Con 2024!

This year's conference will be held April 8-9 at the Gateway Hotel and Conference Center in Ames.

Here are some topics to consider for a proposal:
Intellectual freedom
Collection development audit
Family programming
Programs you've created that have taken off
School-age programming
Teen programming and services
Early literacy programs
Storytime programs/book or song selections for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers
Social media engagement
Partnerships and outreach ideas
Selected presenters will be given $20 off the full conference registration or $10 off of a single day registration. Proposals must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. Monday, February 12. The form will be closed after that time.
