20th Annual La Crosse Storytelling Festival July 21 and 22, 2023

La Crosse, WI - The Pump House Regional Arts Center provides fun for all ages July 21-22, 2023 at the 20th Annual Storytelling Festival.

When the La Crosse Storytelling Festival began 20 years ago, it was the first of its kind in Wisconsin. It now spans over two days with different programs to delight the whole family. We beckon thrill and chill seekers to join us July 21 at 6:30 pm for Tales of the Creepy and Scary. Family fun runs 11:00 am - 2:30 pm on July 22. The stories shared are appropriate for our youngest audiences and incorporate puppets, songs, and other activities. Our afternoon program begins at 2:40 pm and features stories and songs for adolescents and adults. After a short break, the evening program resumes at 6:00 pm and invites the audience to share stories of their own in a story slam. Whoever tells the best story wins $20! After more tales from our featured storytellers, there will be a raffle drawing.

Doors open at 6:00 pm on July 21 and at 10:30 am on July 22. The Arla and John Clemons Children's Stage is FREE to all. Tickets can be purchased for the Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday evening programs at the door, online at thepumphouse.org, or by calling the Pump House at 608-785-1434. Wristbands will be provided for the afternoon and evening programs on July 22. Food and beverages will be available onsite throughout the Festival.
