Birdsong, partnered with The Tennessee River Resort District, is ecstatic to say this is now a free event to attend. Donations for the fireworks show is always appreciated by all - helping keep the free annual event supplied with big explosives. We have cottages, cabins and mobile home rentals, a primitive campground, and RV sites with full hookups. Holiday weekends fill up fast, so don't delay.

Build-A-Boat Derby
Just for Fun! Build-A-Boat Derby! Boats must be homemade, no "kits." Boats may be made of anything you choose from an old bathtub to cardboard and duct tape. Boats MUST float 50 yards. Life jackets are mandatory, and must house one person to paddle it.
Time: 3 pm - Kids, 3:30 pm - Adults

6 pm-10 pm: Music - Scott Little

5:30 pm: Boat Parade
Participants bring your boats and decorate for Independence day - be there at 4:30pm to register and get lined up! Prizes will be awarded this year for the "Best Decorated," "Most Original," and "You-Must-have-Been-Drunk" categories.

Music - The Jimmy Church Band
Jimmy Church and band require no introduction! They take the waterfront stage from 7-9 pm - then break for the Big FIREWORKS SHOW… and Back on from 9-11 pm. What a night! Adult beverages and food trucks available

9 pm - Fireworks Extravaganza
