After 38 years - we're elevating Saint Charles Oktoberfest once again. One of the most popular Bavarian festivals in the nation, and one of the largest family festivals in the Midwest is about to get a whole lot bigger.

6:30pm: Opening Ceremony - Hofbrau Bier Garten
Come Celebrate The Start Of St. Charles Oktoberfest Where We Carry On The German Tradition Where The Mayor Of Munich Kicks Off The Festival With The Honorary Tapping Of The First Keg. Yelling To The Crowd,  Zapft Is. It's Tapped. To The Crowd Signals The Start Of The Event.
On Stage, Surrounded By Folks Adorning Traditional Regalia, Cameras, And Immense Excitement, Mayor Dan Borgmeyer Hammer The Kolbenschankhahn Into The Vintage Wood-Barrel Keg. The First Of Many Kegs To Be Tapped And Drained Throughout The Weekend.

4:00pm: Brat eating contest - Hofbrau Bier Garten
Think You Can Eat More German Bratwursts Than Anyone Else, Or Like To See Humans Push Their Stomachs To The Limit? Join Us On Saturday,  For The Annual Kenrick’s Brat Eating Contest To See If You Can Take First In The ‘Wurst Eating Contest.  The Winner Receives An Assorted Basket Of Saint Charles Oktoberfest Memorabilia.
12:30pm: Raise The Stein  - Hofbrau Bier Garten
12:30pm-4:30pm Preliminary Rounds
5:00pm Championship
Think You Can Hoist A Full Liter Stein Longer Than Anyone Else? Our Raise The Stein Stein Hoisting Competition Returns For Another Season As We Search High And Low For A Winner Who Can Hold The Stein The Longest. We Use The Term Winner Loosely Because Those Who Drop Out First Get To Drink The Beer Sooner. Whether You’re Hoisting, Cheering On Your Friends While They Hoist, Or Just Getting A Taste Of Samuel Adams Oktoberfest, It’s Sure To Be A Great Time. Good Luck And Happy Hoisting.

Start Your Sunday Off Right With The 13th Annual Saint Charles Oktoberfest 5k And 10k Runs. All Participants Will Receive A Commemorative Medal And Themed Shirt. The Saint Charles Oktoberfest 5k And 10k Race Benefits The Disabled Athlete Sports Association Dasa.
Location: Historic Saint Charles. The Start Is On Riverside Drive In Front Of Frontier Park And The Finish Is On The Katy Trail In Frontier Park At The Saint Charles Oktoberfest Festival.
The Fast Flat Course Winds Through The Best Of What St. Charles Has To Offer – Historic Main Street, Frenchtown District, And Even The Scenic Katy Trail All While Ending In One Of The Biggest Riverfront Festivals In St. Charles – The Saint Charles Oktoberfest.
9:00am - 4:30pm: Antique Car Show
Join Us On Sunday, September 29th For The 37th Annual Saint Charles Oktoberfest Antique Car Show. The Antique Car Show Is Located On South Main Street In Historic Downtown St. Charles. It Is Hosted By The First Capitol Classics Auto Club And Sponsored By Bud’s Automotive. Guests Will Have The Pleasure To View Stock Cars From 1998 And Earlier. During Your Visit, Be Sure To Stop In The Local Shops And Restaurants For The Full Main Street Experience.
10:00am - 5:00pm: Sunday Funday
Join Us At The Festival For Sunday Funday And A Great Opportunity To Raise Money For Local Organizations. The Oktoberfest Believes That Giving Back Through Fundraising Is Best Way For Us To Engage With Our Community. We Are Lucky To Be Teaming Up With The Popular Facebook Group Teinsldb And 3 Amazing Non-Profit Organizations To Bring You A Day Of Music, Food, And Education.

Watch As These Pint-Sized, Speed-Loving Pups Dash Down The Track With Tails Wagging And Ears Flapping In The Wind. Cheer On Your Favorite Wiener Dog As They Compete For Glory And The Title Of Wiener Dog Derby Champion.
Our Event Promises A Day Of Family-Friendly Fun, Filled With Laughter, Excitement, And Heartwarming Moments. Alongside The Races, There Will Be Delicious Food, Games, And Activities For All Ages.
