From: Short Film Festival and Food Drive

Join local filmmakers united against hunger in your community! This is the 10th year for the SHORT FILM FESTIVAL & FOOD DRIVE. Admission is just two canned goods per person for an entire program of locally made "short" films.

All foods collected will be donated to a local food shelf serving the community. Support a local charity, local cinema and a local theater, all in one evening!

Cycles

The Field

Bleat Dreams

A city family moves to the country and attempts to open a bed and breakfast specializing in goat products.

Denny's Treasure

Down-and-out Denny tries to find the lost treasure of a local robbery in the hopes of turning his fortunes around.

A Warrior Goes Home

A son grapples with the decision to send his father, an aging movie star struggling with dementia, to an assisted living facility.

The Wish
A rural farmer makes a bargain with the wrong person.

Beans & Weens

A can of franks and beans sets out to find a soulmate.

The Audience Member
A student practicing the piano is visited by a mysterious stranger.

Haunt That Like Button

The host of a paranormal podcast live streams the unboxing of a cursed object.

Lemonade Battle

Two rival lemonade stands go head to head for control of their favorite street corner.

Fanny Pack Platypus
(Last Wizard Productions, 6 minutes)
In this mixed-media film, Hazel, is a recent college graduate with a passion for children stories. However, lately she’s been having a difficult time finding balance in what she loves in life, on top of working minimum wage jobs.

Loser
(Vanessa Horrocks-Powers, 12 minutes)
A comedy of errors following a young woman through a day of job interviews that goes from bad to worse. A series of misadventures leads her to the conclusion that perhaps being a 'loser' isn't so bad.
