They work better as a team and greatly improve their problem-solving skills. It's also a ton of fun! This improvisation workshop, led by Meredith Charles of Drama Out of the Box, is designed to challenge and inspire students to stretch their brains and limits. A club that does what it says on the tin! This summer’s teen book club is intended to remove some of the stress that may have kept people from joining book clubs in the past. Here’s how it works: we’ll meet up at one of Shrewsbury’s lovely public parks, put in our headphones, turn on an audiobook (or podcast, whatever you want), and go for a gentle stroll. At the end of our walk we’ll settle down for a little snack and have the option to talk about what we listened to. Listen to what you like, talk or don’t talk, come every week or just try it out.

Thursday, July 13th - Dean Park

Tuesday, July 18th - Prospect Park

Thursday, July 27th - Lake Street Park

Please wear appropriate shoes, hats, sunscreen, bugspray, etc. Registrants must fill out a waiver before they can participate - FILL OUT WAIVER HERE.
