CEDAR CITY, Utah. The Southern Utah men's basketball squad, fresh off a winning non-conference slate, opens its inaugural season as part of the Western Athletic Conference this week.  SUU initially heads to Las Cruces, N.M. to compete with New Mexico State on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. MT.
