We have two studios available for rent this March— a rare opening of our two premium studios – a private live/work studio, plus a brightly-lit, windowed work-only studio.

Applicants must be San Diego-based and committed to participating in the Space 4 Art community. Preference will be given to artists with a demonstrated commitment to a life in the arts and a community-based practice, regardless of whether this work is their sole source of income. Please Read our FAQs for general information about how the rental process works.

Private Live/Work Studio
Studio 39 has a private bathroom, kitchen, and loft space. This is a premium studio - our only live/work studio with private bathroom and kitchen! Total size is 884 sqft. Monthly rent is $2,225, including utilities and internet.

Work Studio with Windows 
Studio 41 has a lot of natural light, with 2 large SE facing windows. Studio size is 143 sf, and monthly rent is $485, including utilities and internet. This is our only work studio with windows!
