Farewell to 2024 ~ and Welcome to 2025!

This past year has been wild and wonderful! Spotlighters brought you some of the most powerful stories ever to grace our intimate stage!

Two new works by local playwrights (***-Gods and Pillar Rabbit) both of which broke audience records for new works! A new play dealing with life among today's youth gave us all a look in the stress of being a teenager in today's world (The Wolves) ... we had a chance to laugh at ourselves as we looked behind the curtain at the operation of a small theatre company (Laughing Stock), and at the many stages and faces of love (Love/Sick) ....

Season 62 opened with a record breaking performance of A Raisin in the Sun, directed by the amazing Rain Pryor; and had audiences in tears, laughter and cheers in this powerful work of American theater. And we put a thrilling bow of the end of the year, with the classic suspense/thriller/comedy DeathTrap!

None of this could have been possible without our amazing designers, directors, technicians and actors . . . all this wonderful local talent that spends hours preparing for 3 or 4 weekends of performances for the dedicated audience members. They truly deserve a huge Thank You!

And we are always thrilled to see our patrons back show after show to engage with the Intimate Stories on the Spots' stage! So many of you are part of the family, and we are excited to add new family members with each production.

2025 will bring many new opportunities for everyone at Spotlighters and for you our patrons and audience members to see LIVE THEATRE in our Intimate Space.

2025 will also bring the introduction of a new Artistic Director taking the helm to lead Spotlighters forward and continue the vision and mission of Audrey Herman, to provoke audiences to "feel, think and act" because of a show at Spotlighters.
