Join us virtually to chat about summer during a snowstorm.
Well, there's always a risk to scheduling in-person events in March, and we were reminded of it this week thanks to (another) winter storm pummeling its way to Cherokee where we were supposed to have an in-person STEM Fair and Summer Reading Summit this Thursday, March 9 and Friday, March 10.
Unfortunately, because of the interactive nature of the STEM Fair, it cannot move to Zoom. And, due to the challenging logistics of coordinating a large number of presenters, the event will not be rescheduled.
However, we are going to transition the March 10 Summer Reading Summit to a virtual environment and open it up to all librarians in the Northwest District who might not have been able to attend the in-person event. Here's the agenda (the event will run from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.):
A microphone (or access to a phone) is required! The event will be no fun at all if no one talks. Last note, there will be no lunch provided ... Unless you like snow cones ;) We'd love to have you join us!
