INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Governor Mike Braun made the following statement regarding President Donald Trump upcoming executive order to prohibit biological males from participating in girls’ sports on February 5, 2025.

“Under no circumstances should biological males be allowed to participate in girls’ sports, and I applaud President Trump for his bold leadership on this issue,” said Governor Mike Braun. “Our girls work extraordinarily hard to compete at the high school and collegiate level, and we owe it to them to protect the integrity and fairness of their sports. Forcing young women and girls to compete against biological males at the behest of an extreme and unpopular gender ideology is fundamentally wrong."
