The Stratford Library Children’s Dept. offers weekly storytimes for children. Storytimes meet at 10:30 am. On Mondays, Toddler Time meets for ages 0-2. On Tuesdays, Preschool Storytime meets for ages 3-5. Baby Lapsit meets on Thursdays for babies 0-18 months. Friday Fun offers stories and songs for ages 2-5. (No storytimes on November 23 and 24). Book Scientists:
The Stratford Library Children’s Dept. will offer Book Scientist kits for children ages 3-12. Each kit includes books and activities. Books are selected based on the age of the child participating. Diwali Grab ‘n’ Go Kit:
Celebrate the festival of lights with the Stratford Library Children’s Dept. grab ‘n’ go kit about this Hindu festival. Children ages 5-12 are welcome to register for this craft. The Stratford Library Children’s Dept. will offer Piano with Friends: Music Basics class on Tuesday, November 7 at 6 pm and Classical Music (Music Basics required first) on Wednesday, November 15 at 4pm for children ages 7-12. Matica Arts Performance and Workshop:
Join the Stratford Library Children’s Dept for an acro-skills performance and then sign up separately for a workshop to follow, where kids can make their own juggling balls and learn how to juggle. Performance will be on Thursday, November 16 at 2pm (school half-day) for children ages 5 and up, with the workshop following at 2:45pm for children ages 7-12. Be A Materials Scientist Grab ‘N’ Go:
The Stratford Library Children’s Dept. invites you to be an amateur materials scientist. Pickups for the kit start on Monday, November 20. Kits are courtesy of the Discovery Museum and are for children ages 9-12 with a grown-up’s help. Learn how heat energy transfers through different materials. Lighthouse Quilters:
