After nearly three years, the Stratford Library is now offering its patrons discounted and free passes to a variety of state museums and attractions. The Museum Pass Program, which includes family passes to the Beardsley Zoo and Hartford’s Wadsworth Athenaeum, is one of countless free services the library offers to area residents on a daily basis. The library is committed to providing Stratford residents the programs and materials they desire to enjoy their leisure time and pursue their personal interests and development.
For the popular Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport the pass is valid for $10 admission per person, day events only for up to 6 people in one family. The Intrepid Air, Sea and Space Museum (NYC) pass offers free admission for 2 adults and 2 children while the Discovery Science Center and Planetarium (Bridgeport) includes up to 4 free child admissions with 1 paid adult admission.
Discounted passes for the Old Connecticut State House, the Connecticut Science Center and Wadsworth Athenaeum (Hartford) and The Carousel Museum (Bristol) are also currently available at the Stratford Library Check-Out Desk. Stratford adult patrons (18 years and older) with a current library card may reserve and borrow passes. Patrons must sign a contract and only one pass per family per day is allowed. There are no renewals.
